Haven Farms is a Christ centered 90 acre farm, located in Hazel Green, Alabama. Our focus is to serve the children that come through our summer camp program with Christs love, edification, education, fun and a clear presentation of the Gospel by the end of the week.

We truly value our Summer staff, and that is why we meet before camp to do orientation, training, and brainstorming sessions. This allows us to prepare for the summer camp season, and share creative ideas to keep making our Haven Farms Day Camps better each year!

Horse Camp Counselors:
Schedule | 8:30am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday
Requirements | Must be 18+, former equestrian experience is required.
Senior Critter Camp Counselors:
Schedule | 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday
Requirements | Must be 18+, and will supervise, instruct and serve campers. Must be a role model, teacher, prayer partner, coach, rule keeper, energy setter, organized and truth teller.
Lifeguard:
Schedule | 9am - 3pm Monday - Thursday & 9-2 Friday
Requirements | Certified American Red Cross
Media Specialist:
Schedule | 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday
Requirements | Must have some experience with photography, videography, editing and social media.
Activity Coordinator:
Schedule | 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday
Requirements | Overseeing the set up, take down, organizing sports, competitions and activities.
The Details

Pay: We offer competitive pay for the position of Camp Counselor.

Dates: Our camps run for 6 weeks for horse camp and 5 weeks for Critter Camp. June-July

Location: Hazel Green, Alabama

Average Camp Size: We are expecting to have around 50 children for each of the 5 weeks of Critter Camp and 12 children for each week of horse camp.
